It's time to expand our team with another person to work on the design and front-end development of our products, Beanstalk and Postmark. We are looking for someone who has the experience and desire to nourish, improve and grow our two products and a few smaller satellite projects. You should be able to do a full cycle, from gathering requirements to prototyping UI to designing and then implementing it with HTML, CSS and JS. This position requires great UI and graphic design skills, impeccable attention to detail, and an understanding of interaction design and usability best practices.
You should be comfortable with these technologies and methodologies:
- CSS, Sass and Compass
- JavaScript and jQuery is a plus
- Experience with writing tests for JS is a plus
- Experience with version control systems
What’s it like working with Wildbit?
We’re like a family, most of us working out of our office in Old City, Philadelphia, and a few people in Russia and Serbia. We value quiet time, beautiful design, and clean code. We take our work very seriously and expect each person to be self motivated (no babysitting here). Of course, we also have a lot of fun. At least once per year we have a company retreat in a large villa for a week. Past retreats include Spain, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. We have family lunches each day in the office, prepared by the Wildbit chef. We also do our fair share of happy hours with the team.
Location can be remote or our Philadelphia office. We will help anyone willing to relocate.
