The principle of people-first business is the foundation of everything we do, from the smallest product feature to the biggest decisions about what we do as a company. Businesses are built by people, and we think they should be built for people, too.

One of the most counterintuitive ideas about business is that a company’s needs are somehow different from those of the people who run and work for that company—or that companies have needs of their own at all. We don’t agree.
Operations
Creating spaces where people can do the work of their lives means thinking carefully about what work is, how it can (and should) fit into the rest of someone’s life, and how we can empower our teams to feel safe, satisfied, and secure in their position.
Innovation
One of the things we’ve learned since founding Wildbit in 2001 is that the reason real innovation is so rare isn’t because of a lack of creativity or vision: it’s because of our fundamental aversion to risk as human beings.
Impact
As a business, we know that lasting impact is often the result of small, deliberate decisions, and it happens consistently over time. And we believe the true impact of a business is external: it happens in our families, in our communities, in the environment around us.
