Beanstalk is hiring a developer

We are hiring a developer to help grow and improve Beanstalk, our version control and deployments service. We’re looking for someone with at least three years of experience in supporting large scale production rails applications. In addition to clean, readable code, a focus on automated testing, refactoring, and documentation is crucial. Since Beanstalk is highly infrastructure driven, you should be comfortable with linux and interacting directly with server side tasks and processes. Some of the stuff that we use: MySQL, Mongo, Redis, Elastic Search, statsd, Clojure, Ruby, Rails 2, ZFS, jQuery.

What’s it like working with Wildbit?

We’re like a family, most of us working out of our office in Old City, Philadelphia, and a few people in Russia and Serbia. We value quiet time, beautiful design, and clean code. We take our work very seriously and expect each person to be self motivated (no babysitting here). Of course, we also have a lot of fun. At least once per year we have a company retreat in a large villa for a week. Past retreats include Spain, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. We have family lunches each day in the office, prepared by the Wildbit chef. We also do our fair share of happy hours with the team.

This position is for our Philadelphia office. We will help anyone willing to relocate.

Interested? Email me at chris@wildbit.com. A resume helps, but I usually like to hear about what interests you and how you might be a good fit.
