Looks like Yahoo! recently launched their take on the new mapping services. It features some nice interface tools like the zoom panel (upper right) and seems to have traffic updates, which is huge. The keyword search found our office (by typing “wildbit”) with more accuracy than Google.
What I really like is that they created a gallery of example applications that were built using the Yahoo! Maps API. Have a look.
In the upcoming months we will be integrating mapping services with some of our applications. We will have to make some calculated decisions on whether we go with Google or Yahoo.
