I called up ZipCar after the Freedom Plan fiasco, and asked, "What are you doing for CarShare members?" The answer was to gladly poach them with only $25/year and no activation. So I switched, and now I can extend my reservation through text message and get an EZPass. Win. I did the exact same thing.
