We are launching a new tool for Beanstalk. It will allow you to deploy files to a staging and production server from your Subversion repositories. If you want to be part of the VERY small beta group, please email us with your account name. You must be ready to actively use the tool within the next week.
The tool will allow you to insert special tags in commit logs like [deploy:staging] to make the entire process effortless. Of course, you can also choose to deploy automatically or manually from the Beanstalk interface. Here are some screen shots.
Btw, this will only be available for paid plans.

When is the deploy feature going to be available?

For web designers who are a little afraid of subversion, FTP deployment really is the killer feature. I’m hoping that you don’t make this only available to users of your ‘Business’ package. That’s the reason I’ve signed up to Beanstalk rather than Springloops – you have to pay $50 a month for that feature with them. I’m guessing that you’d get a LOT of users if you chose to price things differently from them.

This feature is WAY behind, but for good reason. We are working out some of the details. It will be available to all paid accounts.
