The new version of Modalbox has been released recently. It’s numbered 1.5.4 and has a lot of new features and bug fixes inside the package. Most of these new features were requested by Modalbox users from around the world for a while, but due to being busy on our primary projects I wasn’t able to implement them. But it’s better late than never — please welcome the new Modalbox version!

Project Alpha is now Beanstalk
Project Alpha, our Subversion management application for team leads, now has an official name: Beanstalk. Along with the name, we have launched a beta landing page with a short description, the new logo, and a sign up form if anyone is interested in the public beta once it is released.
T-Mobile WiFi Phone
In the midst of the iPhone craze I just read that T-Mobile launched a WiFi enabled phone that can seamlessly switch to WiFi calls from the mobile network when an access point is detected. The new service is called hotspot@home. The introduction of the iPhone is a big leap for the mobile phone experience, but to me, this new service from T-Mobile presents much more value than a feature-rich device ever can.
